The film was also screen there, revealing it to indeed be a direct sequel to the seminal found-footage movie The Blair Witch Projectfrom 1999. Originally titled The Woods in a ploy to keep the film's actual premise and nature under-wraps, the first proper trailer for Blair Witch premiered at San Diego Comic Con this past July.
